Initiatives aimed at students and parents
– We have several dozen volunteers who are very willing and professional in helping with homework, understanding the material or preparing for a test. All you need to do is send an email to korepetycjezhpboleslawiec@gmail.com. – says Radosław Kalamarz, head of the Promotion and Communication Team of the ZHP Bolesławiec Scout District. – We have already helped several people, but I am sure there will be more who need assistance.
The second initiative, aimed at young people, is scouting career and school guidance, of course provided in a peer-to-peer format.
R. Kalamarz:
The same group of people, along with many other representatives of a wide range of professions, will tell high school graduates and eighth-graders, who face very difficult life choices, about their universities, professions and secondary schools. They will discuss advantages and disadvantages that students may not be aware of, the recruitment process, whether it is really as difficult as people say, and so on.
Not everyone has older siblings or friends who can offer advice, while we have several dozen people ready to help who have graduated from or are studying at various domestic and foreign universities, and who work in professions such as IT, policing, electronics, mechanics, nursing, medicine, education and firefighting.

They sew face masks
In addition to these two initiatives, the scouts and their families are sewing masks. – So far, we have made approximately 500–600 masks, which have gone to hospitals and other institutions – says Radosław Kalamarz.
An initiative to help seniors is ongoing
We have already reported on this initiative in our newspaper. Details are available on the poster:
