Several minutes before 1:00 p.m. on April 5, a fire broke out at a waste storage site in Wieża near Gryfów Śląski, reports the lwowecki.info
portal.The smoke is visible from nearby towns. Several fire service units are battling the blaze, and more are being dispatched.
The site of the fire stored, among other things, waste including plastic packaging, paper, and RTV/IT equipment.
The firefighting operation will continue for many hours. Gusty winds are making it more difficult to fight the fire.
