The incident occurred on February 17 at the intersection of Moniuszki and Bacewicz streets in Jelenia Góra. “The officers were alerted by a woman who saw an approximately 60-year-old man fall and hit his head on the pavement,” says Artur Wilimek, spokesperson for the Jelenia Góra Municipal Police. “At one point, the man stopped breathing and had no detectable pulse. One of the officers immediately began cardiopulmonary resuscitation. After just a few compressions, the victim’s vital signs returned and he regained consciousness.
