Despite the heavy defeat, Saturday’s match was very even for most of the time. Delta took the lead as early as the 2nd minute, but shortly afterwards, following a one-on-one move, Adrian Kulesza equalised at 1–1. We saw no more goals in the first half. Both teams fought an even battle, and there was no shortage of commitment on the pitch. BKS Bolesławiec could have taken the lead, but Marek Majka missed a penalty.
In the 65th minute, the players from Sieniawa Żarska took the lead once again, but three minutes later Filip Zagórski scored with a fine strike to make it 2–2. Unfortunately, from the 70th minute our players clearly began to run out of energy and, as a result, we conceded as many as five goals, producing a very hockey-like scoreline. BKS Bolesławiec’s final goal was scored by Sławomir Dul, who successfully followed up his missed penalty-kick attempt and set the final score at 3–7 (1–1).
Our team will play its next friendly match against Odra Ścinawa on Sunday (16 February) at 10:00, on the pitch in Lubin.
