Our editorial office has been receiving anonymous emails concerning what their authors describe as the dramatic situation in the internal medicine ward of the county hospital. The situation is therefore not dramatic, although it is not good either.

– Of the five-person staff, two people are on sick leave and one had to leave urgently for family reasons. We are providing additional shifts covered by other doctors. We are limiting admissions for diagnostic purposes, while everyone in a life-threatening condition will be admitted. We do not anticipate suspending the ward’s operations – Nikolaj Lambrinow, the county hospital’s director for medical treatment, told the Istotneinformacje.pl portal.Nikolaj Lambrinow, director for medical treatment at the county hospital.
