The incident occurred on December 8, before 10 p.m. According to the officers’ preliminary findings, a 26-year-old man driving a Fiat pulled out from a minor road and was hit by an Alfa Romeo driven by a 25-year-old man. (Both men were from Bolesławiec gmina.)
The Fiat driver died as a result of the incident, despite attempts to resuscitate him. The passenger in the car was injured and taken to hospital with facial injuries. The Alfa Romeo driver was unharmed.
The police and prosecutor’s office are investigating the case.
Firefighters were at the scene, freeing the injured people from the vehicle, along with two ambulances and the police.
