Four fire service units, an ambulance crew and police were dispatched to Milików on Sunday evening. A boiler room fire had broken out there. As we read on the OSP Nowogrodziec profile:
Alarm! On Sunday, November 24, 2019, at 10:03 p.m., we were dispatched to a boiler room fire in Milików. Upon arrival, the boiler room was completely engulfed in flames. Our actions involved directing one stream of water at the burning stored coal and the boiler room equipment. The prompt actions prevented the fire from spreading to other rooms, including the garage. We ventilated the entire building due to heavy smoke and used a thermal imaging camera to check for hidden fire sources. In addition, we had to provide qualified first aid to two people who suffered smoke poisoning. Sixteen firefighters operated at the scene, including 10 from Nowogrodziec. Forces and resources:
