A match of missed chances that came back to haunt them at the end. That is how Saturday’s match, in which BKS faced Victoria Ruszów away, can be described in a single sentence. In the first half, Sebastian Tylutki’s players had a clear advantage and several excellent opportunities to take the lead, or even go several goals ahead. Unfortunately, they lacked efficiency. Łukasz Graczyk, Filip Zagórski and Adrian Kulesza all failed to convert their chances.
At the beginning of the second half, the hosts came into the game and twice came close to scoring, with the ball narrowly missing the post. BKS also attacked, but remained ineffective. There were many chances, but the Bolesławiec side could not put the ball in the net. The Ruszów goalkeeper repeatedly saved his team and deserved the title of Man of the Match. Meanwhile, an old football saying goes that missed chances come back to haunt you... That is what happened in this match. In the 85th minute, the referee awarded Ruszów a penalty. Marcin Świrlik stepped up to take it, making it 1–0 to the hosts. The score remained unchanged until the final whistle. Victoria Ruszów – BKS Bolesławiec 1–0 (0–0).
This was the final match of the autumn round. BKS finished seventh in the district league table.
