The accident occurred on Friday, November 15, before 1 p.m., in the village of Łąka (Bolesławiec municipality). Two passenger cars collided. The driver of the Toyota, a 36-year-old woman from Wrocław, was reversing out of a property. She failed to yield the right of way and collided with an Audi traveling on the main road, driven by a 27-year-old man from Bolesławiec County.
The Toyota's passenger, a 27-year-old resident of our county, was taken to hospital because of her advanced pregnancy.
Three fire service units, the police and a medical rescue team were at the scene.
