Last November, we reported that the Bolesławiec SP ZOZ, with the assistance of the County, had submitted an application for funding for emergency medical services under the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment. The hospital wanted to obtain funds to complete construction of the Hospital Emergency Department and equip it with state-of-the-art equipment.
It is now known that the application has passed the preselection stage. The facility must now supplement the application and provide the full project documentation. The chances of receiving more than PLN 4.5 million in funding are very high. “We will sign the agreement in December this year with 99% certainty,” Adam Zdaniuk, the hospital director, told the IstotneInformacje.pl portal.
What does this mean for patients? “This will improve the facility’s condition. Construction of the Emergency Department will not burden the budgets of the hospital or the County,” the director emphasizes. “And in Bolesławiec, a department meeting European standards will be created, where patients will be able to find help and care.”
