The incident occurred on November 4 on the road between Kraśnik Dolny and Bolesławiec. A Mercedes passenger car and a van—a Mercedes Vito—collided head-on.

It is already known that the driver of the passenger car, a 31-year-old resident of Bolesławiec, was overtaking another vehicle improperly. A collision occurred, injuring three people: the person responsible for the accident, as well as the 29-year-old driver and 34-year-old passenger of the Vito. All those injured are from Bolesławiec.

The passenger-car driver, who suffered pelvic, leg and head injuries, was transported by a Polish Medical Air Rescue helicopter to Zielona Góra. The 29-year-old was taken by ambulance to a facility in Legnica, while the 34-year-old was taken to the hospital in Bolesławiec.

As we read on the OSP Trzebień website:

Upon arriving at the scene, it turned out that a passenger car had collided head-on with a van, injuring three people. The condition of one of the injured people required a Polish Medical Air Rescue helicopter to be dispatched. Our unit also secured its landing at the municipal landing site in Trzebień.

In addition to uniformed personnel from Trzebień, firefighters from Bolesławiec (3 units), volunteer firefighters from Różyniec, three emergency medical teams and the police took part in the operation.
