Unfortunately, the Bolesławiec team lost the match 0–3. The team is very young and is only just coming together, and this fact may be treated as an excuse for the defeat. Especially since the BTS players cannot be faulted for their fighting spirit and commitment.
“This is our second match in the Lower Silesian Junior League,” says Tomasz Włoszczyński, coach of BTS Elektros. “This season is mainly for learning. We need to practise different variants and formations. The boys are developing. Next year they will also play in the junior league, because most of the squad consists of younger junior-year groups. A very large group of boys are only cadets. For now, they have time to learn, and the time for winning will still come.”
The youngest BTS players are 15, while the oldest are 18. The young volleyball players’ competition was placed under the honorary patronage of County Head Tomasz Gabrysiak.
The event was included in the county schedule of celebrations of national holidays, cultural events and promotional events.
