The operation to remove unexploded ordnance from the construction site of the retail park at Chrobrego and Staroszkolna streets will begin on Saturday, 31 August, at 12:00. Earlier, residents will be evacuated from buildings within a radius of approximately 300 metres from the site where the unexploded ordnance was found.
The detailed evacuation plan will be established during Friday’s meeting of the crisis management team at the city office. Until the sappers’ operation begins, the police will secure the site containing the dangerous find.
