The incident occurred before 5:00 p.m. on Road No. 4, in the village of Wilczy Las. The driver of an Opel Corsa was pulling out from a minor road leading to a nearby cross. The man probably failed to yield to the driver of a heavy Volvo truck. The truck driver braked and tried to avoid a collision. Unfortunately, the truck scraped against the passenger car.

Fortunately, no one was killed. The man driving the Opel was taken to hospital. The heavy Volvo left the road and stopped on an embankment. The truck driver was also lucky. If his vehicle had left the road a dozen or so metres earlier, it would have hit a tree.
