In an email to the editorial office, the reader wrote:
Please address the issue of the illuminated banner belonging to one of the ceramic plants on Kościuszki Street. At night, it emits a very strong white light. Passing these plants last night during torrential rain, I was so dazzled by the banner that absolutely nothing was visible.
They added:
There are pedestrian crossings near this banner which, during torrential rain, become completely invisible after being obscured by the banner’s light.
We asked for clarification about exactly which plant’s banner was meant. The reader replied that it was the screen of Zakłady Ceramiczne Bolesławiec.
Let us add that a similar problem occurred almost two years ago. At that time, the digital billboard was adjusted, but, as can be seen, after some time the problem has returned. In a conversation with the istotne.pl Wiesław Ogrodnik, president of the company, assured us that the matter would be resolved.
