A 21-year-old resident of Bolesławiec who bribed a local doctor was arrested by Lower Silesian police, Radio Wrocław reported. The man allegedly handed over 2,000 zlotys for documents that enabled him to be exempted from military service. The doctor issued the relevant documents stating that he was in poor health.

The suspect was banned from leaving the country and had his passport confiscated.

Several days ago, officers arrested the director of the Bolesławiec Hospital for the Nervously and Mentally Ill, who allegedly accepted bribes, including in exchange for documents that enabled conscripts to avoid military service.
