It was an unlucky weekend for the BKS Bobrzanie senior teams. Both the first and second teams lost their matches. On Saturday (June 6), the first team played in Trzebnica. The match began promisingly for the Bolesławiec side. In the 11th minute, Paweł Rissmann hit the crossbar. Toward the end of the first half, Marek Kumoś was shown a red card. As a result, BKS played with 10 men from the 42nd minute. The goalless score remained until the 54th minute. During the next 23 minutes, the hosts scored three goals. The scorers were: Jaskułowski, Kuszyk and Baś. In the 88th minute, Paweł Rissmann scored Bolesławiec’s consolation goal. The match ended with Polonia Trzebnica winning 3–1.
BKS II – Łużyce Lubań 0–3
Also on Saturday, BKS’s second team played its away match. The Bolesławiec side faced Łużyce Lubań. The hosts scored the opening goal in the 68th minute. Andruchów shot at Marek Przykłota’s goal, making it 1–0. In the 84th minute, Bełzowski shot at the BKS goal. Mariusz Rutkowski stopped the ball heading into the net with his hand and was shown a red card. Bełzowski converted the penalty to score Łużyce’s second goal. Tomasz Łojewski set the final score at 3–0 for Łużyce after making an unfortunate intervention following a cross from the hosts.
