The incident took place on Wednesday, July 24, in the village of Czerna (Nowogrodziec municipality). A disagreement arose between a wife and her husband. The latter grabbed a knife and machete and began threatening both his wife and a member of her family.
Fortunately, no one was hurt. The 38-year-old man was detained.
On Friday, July 26, the court—at the request of the Bolesławiec District Prosecutor’s Office—ordered the Nowogrodziec municipality resident to be held in temporary custody for two months.
The man could face up to three years in prison.
