The city’s most valuable historic monument can be visited individually or in groups. The basilica is open every day for several hours.
Individual visits
The church is open every day from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., and in the afternoon from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. On Sundays, however, the basilica is open from 6:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and in the afternoon from 4:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. It is enough to come to the church during these hours; there is no need to make arrangements. Exactly the same information is displayed on the board in front of the entrance to the church.
Group visits
Groups may come every day during the same hours as individual visitors. In addition, they can arrange a visit at another time by calling: 75 646 63 50.
– Guests visiting the basilica in groups can also use an electronic audio guide system in Polish, German and English. Numbered dial plates have been placed inside the basilica, indicating which numbers should be selected on the portable devices. As they walk through the basilica and its surroundings, groups can listen to comprehensive information not only about the history of the entire building, but also about the artistic qualities of individual elements of the basilica’s historic furnishings, says Fr. Andrzej Jarosiewicz, custodian of the Basilica.
When organized groups make arrangements, the basilica also provides a professional guide who, by prior appointment, conducts tours of the building.
Watch the basilica’s interior live
Images from cameras installed in the church can be viewed on our website 24 hours a day.
We invite you to visit the Baroque Pearl of Bolesławiec. We wish those watching the camera feed, as well as individual and group visitors, an enjoyable experience.
