We have already written in 2017 about the planned opening of a McDonald’s restaurant as part of the Handy Bolesławiec Shopping Park at 14 Kościuszki Street in Bolesławiec. The following year, an information board about the construction of the facility appeared on the fence surrounding the site where the shopping park was supposed to be built. However, construction work did not begin, and the opening date for the shopping park and McDonald’s kept being postponed—first to the second quarter of 2018, then to the second quarter of 2019.
According to the latest information we have obtained, the site where the shopping park was supposed to be built has been put up for sale. The sales offer still emphasizes that a McDonald’s is to be built there, and the tenants are also to include RTV Euro AGD and the Action discount store.
As for KFC, which was supposed to be built on Cieszkowskiego Street, an application for a building permit for KFC in Bolesławiec was submitted to the Bolesławiec County Office in December 2018. However, the matter stalled at this stage, and nothing further is happening for now.
It seems that fans of these fast-food restaurants will have to be patient and wait.
