On Wednesday, 27 May, the County Championship of Upper-Secondary Schools in Beach Volleyball was held at the MOSiR Water and Sports Centre. In the girls’ category, the team from I Liceum Ogólnokształcące, playing in the following line-up, proved the best: Karolina Damian, Magdalena Kozłowska and Martyna Ochocka. The champion team is coached by Marcin Sobczyszyn.
The volleyball players from II LO came second, while representatives of Zespół Szkół Elektronicznych finished third.
In the boys’ category, the county championship was won by the volleyball players from Zespół Szkół Handlowych i Usługowych, who played in the following line-up: Marcin Lelek, Tomasz Pawlik and Radosław Turczyński. The team is coached by Dariusz Wójcik.
The team from ZSE took second place, while the team from I LO finished third.
The two best teams in the girls’ classification and the county champion team qualified for the zonal competitions, which will be held on 4 and 5 June in Zgorzelec. The competition was organised by the Inter-School Sports Centre.
