Another opportunity to showcase the reciter from Ocice’s talent was the final of the Voivodeship 24th Lower Silesian “Pegazik” Recitation Competition, held on April 29 at the Kłodzko Cultural Centre.

Thirty-seven winners of district-level qualifiers from throughout the Lower Silesian Voivodeship competed in the verbal contest. The range of repertoire was extremely broad—from poetic works with a reflective mood to humorous prose passages from the canon of young adult literature.

Among this distinguished and demanding group, Daniel Pielichaty received an honourable mention, performing his piece with great flair. He had prepared it with Polish teacher Edyta Sienkiewicz.

In his prose piece, the young reciter presented the dilemmas and failures of a contemporary student very suggestively, amusing both the audience and the competition jury.

E. Sienkiewicz:

The flattering and encouraging opinions expressed by the esteemed jurors give us hope that Daniel still has many artistic successes ahead of him, which we sincerely wish him!
