The incident took place on Wednesday, April 17, in a building at the intersection of Łokietka and Gdańska streets. Someone started a fire in the fuel chute. (They probably threw in a cigarette butt.)
The incident caused heavy smoke. Fortunately, the firefighters brought the situation under control and no one was injured.
At the direction of the command post of the State Fire Service County Headquarters in Bolesławiec, five people left the building before the uniformed officers arrived.
