Two Women’s Rural Housewives’ Associations from Zebrzydowa and Parzyce—which cooperate with each other on a daily basis—met to celebrate Women’s Day. Both associations also include men, who rose to the occasion and entertained the women throughout the cheerful evening. The tables were laden with wonderful dishes: spicy pumpkin soup, sour rye soup, baked chicken legs, pork chops, breaded mushrooms, various salads (including asparagus salad), homemade bread, stuffed peaches and apples, and a wide variety of cakes, led by a meringue cake.
The quiz was the most entertaining part of the evening. Fifty questions had been prepared: clever, tricky, spicy and simple. Among other things, the participants were asked what a woman would do if she met a very attractive man on the street. They had to say what kind of underwear they were wearing and prove it; there was also a task requiring them to kiss the quiz host. Part of the fun can be viewed in the video.
