The incident occurred at around 10:30 p.m. near a petrol station in Brzeźnik, near Bolesławiec. The driver of a silver BMW with Bolesławiec registration plates struck three pedestrians. Two people died at the scene, while the third was resuscitated. Unfortunately, without success.

Three Ukrainians died: an 18-year-old woman and two men aged 24 and 25.

We know that two people were travelling in the car. It was driven by a resident of our county. He was sober.

Preliminary findings by investigators indicate that the three victims were walking in a group of five, on the wrong side of the road. The pedestrians were not wearing reflective elements.

At approximately 10:30 p.m., five people were hit by a passenger car on national road 94 in Bolesławiec County. Three people died as a result. The deceased were a 17-year-old woman, a 23-year-old man and a 24-year-old man, while the two remaining men, aged 23 and 24, suffered no injuries. The driver had a passenger, who was thought to have an eye injury, but it turned out not to be serious. The 26-year-old driver was sober, while the two men who survived were under the influence of alcohol. They were walking along an unlit section of the road, without reflective elements, on the wrong side (the right lane); they were not walking in single file, but side by side. The police and prosecutor worked at the scene, and traffic disruptions lasted until approximately 4 a.m. The police, under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office, will now establish the circumstances of the incident.
