Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki explained where the Law and Justice government would get the money to implement the “Kaczyński Five”, meaning the party’s new campaign promises (500+ for the first child and a “thirteenth” pension payment for retirees). One of the methods may be to tax “digital giants”. “Business Insider Polska”:

As the Chancellery of the Prime Minister noted, the aim is “fair taxation of the profits that global companies generate in Poland by offering digital services such as online advertising, VOD and music streaming”. The expected financial effect of such a measure is an annual budget revenue of approximately PLN 1 billion.
