The incident occurred on Tuesday (March 5) after 6:00 p.m., at the pedestrian crossing on Zygmunta Augusta Street (the intersection with Marcinkowskiego Street). The Opel driver, a 33-year-old from Gmina Warta Bolesławiecka, was driving from the direction of the police headquarters when he hit a 28-year-old resident of Bolesławiec at the crossing. Fortunately, the man suffered only general bruising.
The police fined the Opel driver PLN 500.
