On Tuesday (February 26), BKS hosted KS Stare Jaroszowice at the Ośrodek Wodno-Sportowy pitch on Spacerowa Street in Bolesławiec. It was the fourth match that Sebastian Tylutki’s players played ahead of the spring round of the Lower Silesian fourth-tier competition, which begins on March 9–10.
The Bolesławiec side took the lead early in the match, after Adrian Puzio scored. Stare Jaroszowice soon equalized through Michał Urbański. Adrian Puzio put BKS back in front. Marek Majka then added another goal. The ambitious players from Stare Jaroszowice scored one more goal to reduce the deficit. Tomasz Król found the net, and the match ended 3–2 (3–2) to BKS. It is worth noting a chance in which BKS came close to extending its lead. Filip Zagórski struck at the Stare Jaroszowice goal from several metres out. The ball hit the crossbar and did not go in.
Czy BKS utrzyma się w IV lidze?
The match was not particularly easy on the eye. There were plenty of inaccuracies, turnovers and disjointed play from both sides. The soggy pitch, which made passing and building attacks difficult, certainly had an impact. In addition, a KS Stare Jaroszowice player was injured near the end of the match. The footballer fell awkwardly onto his hand, probably suffering a fracture of a metacarpal bone.
This coming Saturday (March 2), the Bolesławiec side will play another friendly. This time, they will travel to Germany to face SV Fortuna Trebendorf. The friendly will be played at 12:00 in Trebendorf.
