More Expensive at the Termy. We Know Why

We recently received an SMS reading:

At TERM Y BOLESŁAWIECKIE, in my opinion, a true pricing tragedy has occurred. The new price list [...] drastically raises prices, e.g. a swimming pool ticket for a person with a disability (discounted) from PLN 5 to PLN 10. There are no words to describe such exploitation.

The Reader added:

The remaining tickets have increased by at least 30%, e.g. the salt cave.

We asked Łukasz Jaźwiec, head of the Termy, for comment:

Indeed, on January 10, 2019, we introduced a new price list changing the fees for services at Termy Bolesławiec. However, this is a fairly natural price adjustment, as the previous one took place in May 2017.

Since then, most fees related to the operation and use of the facility have increased significantly. We are not a facility whose overriding goal is to generate the greatest possible income; nevertheless, as a budgetary unit, we must strive to ensure that Termy place as small a burden as possible on the city budget and, consequently, its residents.

Ł. Jaźwiec adds:
