The number of trains and operating times will remain largely unchanged, except that the routes of the first and last trains to/from Węgliniec will be divided at Legnica station. Some passenger trains will not stop at every station—before travelling, please check the detailed timetable for the selected train.
Koleje Dolnośląskie has introduced changes to its services to Dresden. From December 9 this year, the Wrocław–Dresden service will operate with a change at Węgliniec. On the Wrocław–Węgliniec section, the journey will be operated by an Impuls-type vehicle; after changing trains, the Węgliniec–Dresden section will be served by a German diesel vehicle.
As a result of changes to the organisation of services on the Wrocław–Dresden route, the number of direct Wrocław–Lubań services will increase.
Two services to Warsaw will be maintained. IC “Nałkowska” will run on the Jelenia Góra–Warsaw route (via Ostrów Wlkp., Kalisz and Łódź), while IC “Karkonosze” will run on the Jelenia Góra–Białystok route (via Opole, Częstochowa and Łódź).
Seasonally (i.e. during the Christmas and New Year period, winter holidays, summer holidays and long weekends), the night train IC “Karkonosze” will run to and from Szklarska Poręba, enabling convenient travel to the mountains, for example for a one-day trip (departure from Bolesławiec at 5:44 a.m., return at 11:15 p.m.).
