On Thursday, November 29, trade union members of NSZZ Solidarność from Gerresheimer Bolesławiec S.A. (formerly Polfa) organized a protest rally.

More than 80 people are taking part in the protest. People are walking near the Gerresheimer company building and shouting “Solidarity!” and “We want to live with dignity!”.
“There is a lot of strict discipline at work, and we work in high temperatures. I do not expect anything to change radically in this regard. The most important thing is to earn a decent living. We are demanding a PLN 500 gross pay increase,” said Sylwester Gałbiuk of Solidarność. We tried to find out how much the company’s employees currently earn, but the Solidarność representative did not want to answer precisely. He only said that the wages were unsatisfactory.
The protesters hope that their action will have an effect. If it does not, they announce that they will go on strike.
