Our Reader, a resident of Bolesławiec, wrote to us via Facebook:
I would like to highlight one issue […]. It concerns an unlit and poorly marked pedestrian crossing by one of the main roads in our city: Tyrankiewiczów–Podgórna.
According to the person who reported the issue, accidents frequently occur at this intersection. A pedestrian was once killed here, and candles are still regularly lit at the site.
The man adds that he recently witnessed a situation in which a car nearly hit a pedestrian.
We asked the head of the District Roads Authority in Bolesławiec for comment on the matter. We will publish the response as soon as we receive it.
What do you think? Do you also believe it is dangerous there? We invite you to join the discussion.
