A resident of Bolesławiec wrote in an email to the editorial office:

I live near aleja Tysiąclecia and use public transport. Some time ago, the bus shelters protecting people from rain, wind and snow were removed.

And added:

At first I thought new ones would be installed because the old ones were in very poor condition, but so far there is nothing.

As the Reader points out, people who take buses to work very early in the morning are bothered by having to stand out in the open. “And winter is just around the corner...” he adds.

We have established that the shelters will return to aleja Tysiąclecia, although, for procedural reasons, not until the beginning of next year. (One will appear opposite Chumed, the other – vis-à-vis the entrance to the provincial psychiatric hospital).

It is worth emphasizing, however, that at the latter location, Miejski Zakład Gospodarki Mieszkaniowej w Bolesławcu will install benches for MZK bus passengers as early as next week.
