Two weeks after the elections, there is a surprising coalition in the county. Law and Justice will govern, even though its candidates brought in less than 25% of the councillors. Civic Platform in Local Government will help make this possible.

“It will not look like it does in Warsaw. We will try to understand one another. There is no agreement to the Lubin system, meaning the marginalisation of the county,” said the incumbent Civic Platform county head, Karol Stasik.

“We are not refusing anyone entry into the coalition,” added Jan Russ, who will probably become the new county head.

The coalition consists of: Law and Justice – 5 councillors, Civic Platform in Local Government – 4, Impuls – 1, unaffiliated (from the Polish Peasant Party) – 1.
