Our poll shows that the incumbent mayor of Bolesławiec has won the election again. According to our estimates, the incumbent leader of the City of Ceramics received as much as 61.2% of the vote and, consequently, won in the first round, crushing his challengers.
“I have always believed in the people of Bolesławiec. This time, they did not succumb to a wave of demagoguery, lies and slander. We are open to those who want to build Bolesławiec’s future with us. I am very pleased, because I know it was a difficult campaign. I thank everyone for their votes, and I thank the committee members, because they really worked hard,” said Mayor Piotr Roman.
Asked to comment on the poll results, Cezariusz Rudyk refused to comment. In a telephone conversation, he merely said that he would wait for the official results.
Maciej Małkowski and Wiesław Ogrodnik did not answer our call.
