The competition organized by PSB Mrówka Bolesławiec was linked to this year’s Safe Way to School 2018 campaign. In September, representatives of local police units gave presentations at schools. An additional attraction of the campaign was the presence at the classes of the mascots Police Commissioner Lion, Mrówka and Dolphin. The children received reflective armbands and coloring books.

The competition prizes included Lego City bricks, a tablet, Bluetooth radio speakers, lolly balls, a tennis set and computer accessories (prizes for places I–VI and for the children who received honorable mentions).
