The incident occurred on Thursday (11 October) at the roundabout by the Lotos fuel station (Kościuszki Street). The driver of a grey station wagon hit the back of a Volkswagen driven by a 34-year-old resident of Bolesławiec. The Volkswagen then hit the back of an Opel driven by a 69-year-old man from Bolesławiec County. As a result of the collision, the Volkswagen driver was taken to hospital.
Police are looking for the driver of the grey station wagon who, after hitting the Volkswagen, drove away from the scene.
