Over the several decades of the Bolesławiec Ceramic and Sculpture Symposium’s history, ceramic artists from around the world have visited Bolesławiec. This year, sculptors from not only Poland but also Korea, Denmark and Slovakia worked at Bolesławiec’s ceramic plants.
The works were created in a special atmosphere—full of memories and reflections. To mark the anniversary, the Ceramic Museum prepared a special exhibition documenting several decades of the artists’ creative pursuits, while a special commemorative symposium was held at Kliczków Castle, attended by lecturers from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław.
Everyone who would like to see what works were created during this special symposium is invited to visit the gallery of the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre. The sculptures made this year will be exhibited until 30 January.
