The driver of a Toyota, a 32-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra County, caused a head-on collision with a Mercedes while overtaking. The Mercedes was driven by a 27-year-old man from Bolesławiec County. The man was not wearing a seat belt.
He was taken to hospital with injuries to his chest, upper limbs and forearm. Both drivers were sober. The incident was classified as a road accident and will be decided in court.
