The road from Osiecznica to Rudawica is almost ready following its renovation. Almost, because some finishing work is still needed. However, it has been possible to drive along it since September. Officially, the long-awaited bridges over the Kwisa will be opened in a month. Details:
A good year for investment in Bolesławiec County. And it is not over yet
“This year, we have completed a great many investments,” emphasizes Bolesławiec County starosta Karol Stasik. “We have reconstructed more than 20 kilometres of roads. Between 16 and 18 October, we will carry out the final inspection of our largest road project: the road between Osiecznica and Rudawica, together with two bridges over the Kwisa River.”
Tomasz Gabrysiak, deputy starosta:
“In just a moment, we will open the historic and most important investment in Bolesławiec County. It is historic and most important because we have waited the longest for this project to be completed. Work on the road between Osiecznica and Rudawica is nearing completion. This investment is worth PLN 25 million and includes more than 23 kilometres of new asphalt. Once it is completed, residents of Bolesławiec County will be able to cross the Kwisa in Świętoszów efficiently and travel safely throughout our county.”
He adds:
“I am most pleased that we managed to reach a full agreement between the Bolesławiec County Board and all the heads of the county’s municipalities. All the investments carried out on county roads over the past two years were co-financed to varying degrees by the municipalities in our county.”
“I hope that this tradition of jointly establishing the priorities of the municipalities and the County will continue. This is a good sign, because in a few years 100% of county roads will have been modernized. Then we will have to come up with further investment projects to carry out together with the municipalities.”
