The incident occurred after 5:30 a.m. on General Nila Street in Bolesławiec (formerly II Armii Wojska Polskiego Street). The truck, driven by a 48-year-old resident of Lwówek County, hit a noise barrier and overturned onto its side, completely blocking the exit onto Spacerowa Street.
The truck, which was carrying concrete blocks, damaged two noise screens and several infrastructure elements, including a building roof. The 48-year-old driver was injured and taken to the hospital in Bolesławiec. However, as we have established, his life is not in danger.
The driver was heading to Żagań County. He was sober.
Police are determining the cause of the incident.

A tow truck is already at the scene, and a crane is expected to arrive shortly. Disruptions may last until 12:00–1:00 p.m.
