Immediately after Saturday’s march through the streets of Bolesławiec, the conference section began at the Old Theater. Lectures were delivered by clinical psychology specialists, Magdalena Starkowska, MA (“Building personal resources after experiencing cancer”) and Beata Kaczmarek, MA (“Supporting a person with experience of cancer and their loved ones. Principles of effective communication and dealing with a system affected by illness. Burnout syndrome among caregivers – how to protect yourself?”).
The meeting also included an interactive, practical section. Group workshops aimed primarily at members of the organization were held at the Amazonki Club headquarters.
