The incident took place on Thursday, September 6, next to the Shell petrol station.
The 41-year-old moped rider was travelling along Spółdzielcza Street from the direction of the stadium and attempted to turn into the petrol station at a place where this is prohibited (double solid line). He collided with a passenger car travelling in the opposite direction and having a green light.
As a result of the collision, the moped passenger, a 40-year-old woman, was injured. She was taken to hospital with a leg injury.
Both drivers were sober. The police are establishing the details of the incident.
