On Wednesday, 15 August, a first-round District Polish Cup match was played on the pitch in Łaziska. The home side, LZS, hosted BKS Bolesławiec. The first half clearly belonged to BKS. Filip Zagórski gave the signal to attack in the fifth minute with a fine move down the right. The Bolesławiec team took the lead in the 14th minute, when a good cross from Damian Puzio was headed into the net by Sławomir Pełdiak. A minute later, Adrian Kulesza produced a brilliant solo move and it was already 2–0.

When it seemed that the match could practically end there, the hosts scored a goal in the 32nd minute to get back into the game. Radosław Wróblewski got his name on the scoresheet. BKS responded quickly. In the 35th minute, Adrian Kulesza headed home a good delivery from Eryk Kliwak to extend the lead to 3–1. Just before the break, the popular Kaczor completed his hat-trick after an assist from Adrian Biały, making it 4–1 to BKS Bolesławiec at half-time.

After the break, the play of both teams declined slightly, while imprecision and chaos prevailed on the pitch. Despite this, the fans who came to the match saw two more goals. In the 70th minute, Łukasz Graczyk scored a beautiful free-kick goal for BKS, and shortly afterwards Haftmu Mekonen scored the hosts’ second goal with a header.
