On Sunday (12 August), local side Piast hosted IV-league relegated team Nysa Zgorzelec in Wykroty. The first half was a hard-fought affair, but the fans saw no goals. The goals began to flow in the second half. First, after a foul on Grzegorz Roman, the referee awarded a penalty. The fouled player took the ball himself and confidently put Piast ahead. Moments later, Wykroty were already leading 2–0. The scorer was Grzegorz Staniów.

The ambitious Piast did not intend to stop there. Grzegorz Roman scored another goal for the hosts, assisted by Dominik Szydlarski. Piast were now 3–0 ahead. Just as it looked like the match could turn into a rout, the team from Zgorzelec found its voice. First, Piast’s goalkeeper was beaten by Michał Kierpal, and a few minutes later Paweł Jaworski scored a goal to bring Nysa back into the game. However, Piast had the final say. After an individual effort, Dominik Szydlarski scored Piast’s fourth goal to make it 4–2. Piast Wykroty – Nysa Zgorzelec 4:2 (0:0).
