After their historic promotion to Class A, the KS Orzeł Gościszów team played a friendly match in Dresden, Germany. The game took place on 12 August. The team from Gmina Nowogrodziec faced Dresden Löbtau II. Orzeł won 4–1. The match was played on an artificial surface. Gościszów’s goals were scored by: Jan Łaniocha (2), Kamil Łaniocha and a trialist. The Polish footballers dominated both on the pitch and in the stands. Orzeł supporters also travelled with the team to the friendly. The players from Gościszów received a warm welcome from their German counterparts. The two clubs agreed that there would be another match, to be played in Poland.
KS Orzeł Gościszów will begin its league campaign on the last weekend of August. They will face Sparta Zebrzydowa.
