On Friday, March 20, the final of the county primary-school “3” volleyball championship was held in the sports hall in Osiecznica. Fifth-grade girls competed in the event.
The county championship was won by the volleyball players from SP No. 4, whose lineup included: Monika Sandak, Natalia Mojsa, Edyta Koziarczyk, Emilia Szczepan, Jagoda Marcinko, Eryka Baran, Anna Stępień and Sylwia Wojdyło. The team’s coach is Rafał Kwieciński.
The runners-up were the players from the Primary School in Iwiny. The representatives of the Primary School in Żeliszów took third place.
The volleyball players from Bolesławiec and Iwiny advanced to the zone-level competition, which will be held on March 25 in Lubań.
