The BKS Bolesławiec senior team’s Saturday friendly against Promień Żary ended in a 4–2 victory. The goals for our team were scored by: Damian Puzio, Mateusz Dmuchowski, Łukasz Graczyk and Adrian Kulesza.

Despite the oppressive heat, Saturday’s match was enjoyable to watch. Neither side held back, and there was no shortage of scoring chances. The first half was evenly matched, with both teams having opportunities to score. Following a well-organized move, Damian Puzio succeeded, converting a pass from Marek Majka and putting BKS Bolesławiec 1–0 ahead. The score remained unchanged until halftime, although both sides had several more chances to alter it.

After the break, BKS Bolesławiec dominated play. As a result, our team scored three more goals, by Mateusz Dmuchowski, Łukasz Graczyk and Adrian Kulesza. The visitors from Żary responded effectively to our goals twice, with strikes by Rafał Rogalski and Paweł Danielewski, and the match ultimately ended in a 4–2 victory for the Bolesławiec team.

Despite the heat, both teams put on an interesting spectacle. Although the result is secondary in friendly matches, our team’s second consecutive victory is certainly pleasing. For BKS, players who had still been playing in the junior ranks until recently made a positive impression. If everyone works diligently in training, it will surely produce results in the form of good performances in the IV league. BKS will play its next friendly against Piast Zawidów (04.08).
