Preparations for the European Parliament elections are in full swing. Lower Silesia’s Civic Platform has selected its candidates for the European Parliament. Among them is Wojciech Kasprzyk, an aide to MP Marcin Zawiła and deputy head of the Lower Silesian Young Democrats Association.
Kasprzyk, 24, is one of the youngest candidates in Lower Silesia and probably the only representative of Bolesławiec to run in the June elections. “My candidacy was accepted unanimously,” the Young Democrats activist told IstotneInformacje.pl.
The authorities of Lower Silesia’s Civic Platform decided that, among the youth-wing activists, Kasprzyk has the best chance of winning a seat. “This is a great challenge and a tremendous distinction for me,” the politician emphasizes. “The Young Democrats have declared that they will help with the election campaign,” he adds.
Wojciech Kasprzyk will probably be placed seventh on the Civic Platform list.
