We received an email from Konrad Antkowiak of Dolnośląska Służba Dróg i Kolei regarding the reconstruction of Rondo Solidarności:

The temporary traffic-management plan for Rondo Solidarności in Bolesławiec has been approved by Generalna Dyrekcja Dróg Krajowych i Autostrad. After extensive traffic measurements and analyses, consultations with GDDKiA, the police and the other entities managing traffic in this area, the contractor developed an optimal solution with the shortest possible completion time and the fewest disruptions. Despite this, the ongoing work, lasting four months, will have a significant impact on vehicle traffic in the city.

The spokesperson adds:

The contractor expects to carry out work at Rondo Solidarności while maintaining vehicular traffic for a period of 3–4 months. Traffic on national road no. 94 is operating alternately in each direction. The entrance to the roundabout from al. Tysiąclecia is closed, but the entire al. Tysiąclecia from the city-centre side is open to traffic. The other entrances to the roundabout are also closed. Access via the municipal road to the petrol station and vehicle inspection station located at the roundabout is provided.
